Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is an aromatic evergreen herb that belongs to the mint family, Lamiaceae. It is native to the Mediterranean region but can be found in many parts of the world today, including in Turkey.

Majority of the rosemary is growing in the south regions of Turkiye and being exported to the world. Since the rosemary is a durable plant, It is easy for It to grow in most climate and soil conditions.
The harvest season of rosemary begins after mid of June until the end of August. The rosemary harvested in Turkiye are both wild collection and cultivation. The spring rains helps revealing the amazing green color, oil content and maximize the quality of the product.
